Stainless Steel & Nylon Strap 310.32.42.50.02.001

This timepiece was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Silver Snoopy Award, presented by NASA astronauts in 1970 for OMEGA’s contributions to space exploration, including Apollo 13.

The 42 mm stainless steel case is paired with a blue nylon fabric strap, and the strap lining is embossed with the trajectory of Apollo 13. The silver dial features blue PVD indexes and hands, while the blue subdial at 9 o’clock features an embossed silver medallion in the shape of Snoopy.

The caseback, which features a naiad locking system, depicts the far side of the moon in sapphire crystal glass with a micro-structured metal. Snoopy on a command machine ship is adorned with a magic hand that rotates when the chronograph function is used. There is also a disc in the shape of a globe on the reverse side, which rotates once per minute in conjunction with the small seconds of the watch.

The caseback is engraved in black as a tribute to Apollo 13 and OMEGA’s Silver Snoopy Award. The blue ceramic [ZrO2] bezel ring features a tachymeter scale painted in white enamel. This non-limited edition timepiece is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 3861 and comes with a special box.
